In terms of load softening temperature, the load softening temperature of the first-level high alumina brick is about 1510°C, while the load softening temperature of the second-level high alumina brick is about 1460°C. Therefore, in comparison, the creep resistance of primary high alumina bricks is better than that of secondary high alumina bricks.
There are also significant differences between first-level high alumina bricks and second-level high alumina bricks in terms of physical properties such as bulk density, apparent porosity, and normal temperature compressive strength. The volume density of first-level high alumina bricks is usually 2.5g/cm³, the apparent porosity is about 22%, and the normal temperature compressive strength is about 70Mpa; in comparison, the relevant values of second-level high alumina bricks are 2.4g respectively. /cm³, 23% and 60Mpa. Therefore, first-grade high alumina bricks have more advantages in corrosion resistance and wear resistance.
Price is also a big difference between the two. Since first-class high-alumina bricks have higher requirements in raw material selection and production technology, their costs are higher, and therefore the prices are also more expensive.
